Join us at Court House Farm for a special evening talk with internationally renowned colourist and textile artist Kaffe Fassett, joined by Brandon Mably.

Taking place as part of the Glorious Colour Retreat, the evening will explore colour, creativity, pattern and the influences behind their work. The illustrated lecture will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing.

Whether you are a textile artist, quilter, maker, designer or simply love colour and creativity, this is a rare opportunity to spend an evening with two celebrated figures from the world of textile design.

A selection of Kaffe Fassett fabrics will also be available to purchase, along with copies of Kaffe’s latest book, which he will be available to sign.

Accessibility

The lecture will take place in our historic first-floor barn, which is accessed by a flight of fairly steep stairs. As the building is Grade II* listed, we are unable to provide step-free access, so the venue may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. The approach also includes gravel pathways.

We are very sorry that the nature of our historic buildings prevents us from making this event fully accessible, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Parking & Arrival

There is no on-site parking. Please use Roath Road public car park, Portishead, BS20 6AN, which is approximately a five-minute walk away, or nearby on-street parking where available.

On arrival, please enter through the black gates at the Church Road South entrance, BS20 6PU.
